We have been working to brush the trails. We are not half done and we have had the second tractor breakdown, so we will finish with hand tools. Before we do that though, we need to get one of the tractors back from the shop so we can do some grading. Right now the trails are very rough due to all the wheeled traffic this year and we volunteers don’t want to ruin our vehicles while driving on them.
After brushing is done we will start putting up the signs and doing the final grading to smooth the banked up corners. I did notice a couple of trees along our trails that will probably have to be taken down for safety reasons also.
Don’t forget that we hold meeting the first Thursday of the month at 7 pm in our new barn. Please fill out the latest membership form on this web site and become a member. More later. Malcolm Garry Butler
